The Opteka 3.3x High Definition II Telephoto Lens for Video Cameras (52/55/58mm) delivers outstanding detail and enhanced clarity. The high-definition lens fits right over your camera's existing lens system. Plus, it basically doubles your angle of view because of the 3.3x telephoto converter. This means that almost twice as much can fit in each shot. Another reason to add an Opteka HD telephoto lens to your camcorder is the improved image quality your camera receives through the lens. It eliminates flare, ghosting, reflection and refraction - all before it hits the camera's original lens. This results in your camera digitizing a much cleaner image. In fact, this lens allows you to use a more optimal part of your original lens system, which results in crisper imagery. To make this lens more adaptable, Opteka has included a 52-58mm adapter ring and a 55-58mm adapter ring. With these attachments, this lens can attach to 52mm, 55mm or 58mm threads.

It did fit on my Sanyo HD2000 with an adpt step down ring (not included). Tripod mounted, my camera will not auto focus in sunlight because of optical distortion. I had to manual focus. I ended up returning this lens and getting a Raynox HD2205. More money but you get what you pay for.
