There are enough new features in 2012 for Mac that the conversion from 2008 Windows Quickbooks Pro was seamless. They added enough new features and worked well enough to use the conversion tools offered with Pro 2008 to make the change-over almost effortless. Of course, as with all softwares, it is a pleasure working with the Mac. Absolutely no lockups or shutdowns on the 2012 Mac version as we had in both XP and Windows 7 concerning printer spooling and export to PDF check handling in 2008 for Windows.
We have installed this on an Apple Mac Mini Server and have great success with remote access. 3 licenses and we will be adding more.

Bought Quickbooks for Mac 2012. Before buying I checked with Intuit and their online reps as well as phone reps all promised I could transfer my Quickbooks Online to Quickbooks for Mac 2012 and promised to help with the transfer. After purchasing they gave me the runaround for a day with long hold times and bad information. At the end of it all I was finally told that you cannot transfer Quickbooks online to Quickbooks for Mac 2012 which was the only reason I bought this desktop version. Plenty of problems with service and support. They have a $19.95/month support plan but my first call in after being enrolled for this service they had me on hold for 35 minutes only for their customer support to say they couldn't help me. They arranged a call back the next day with another support agent who was not able to help me with a credit back to my account. Their reps confirmed that all of their customer service only comes from India or the Philippines. They said no support was available from the US except through the office of the President of Intuit. I called and emailed that office and they escalated me to top tier customer support which they said could take up to 48 hours to get back to me. Not very top tier. Luckily they got back to me that same day but it was another rep from India who said he was calling form the Office of the President. That rep was not helpful and promised a call back to help me with the transfer of the Online Quickbooks to Mac 2012 only to fail to call back at all. This was supposedly direct from the office of the President of Intuit, Brad Smith. I finally called Intuit Online myself only to have their reps there confirm that indeed you cannot transfer to Mac 2012 - online Pro or Premiere. Terrible customer service and a lot of misleading information.

It is exactly what is advertised. I own a small film company, and a chain of medical clinics. Highly recommended. The ONLY negative comment I could post is that I wish it would automatically input my numbers..Haha. Most importantly, B&H made it very simple, no nonsense, and delivered before the due date. Thank you...

Comments about Intuit QuickBooks 2012 For Mac (1-User):
I was very happy to find that B&H carries this product, and at a terrific price. I'm in Canada and for Mac users, Intuit only offers the online version, which I'm not keen on. They claim that the Canadian market is too small to support the Mac software, but given that the product is fundamentally the same as the US version, I'm not clear on their rationale. The only difference is the payroll tax tables, but there are other readily available (and free) options available for that, and many folks don't even need to worry about payroll when running a proprietorship or a home-based business... In any event, the feature set for this product and at the price offered is excellent value.

QuickBooks has been a great way for me to keep up with all the ways I spend and make money in my small business. I am able to create invoices, reports and keep up with my account all with one program. It's a bit overwhelming at first, but once you decide the specifics that you need for your business it's easy!

This program was recommend to me by my Tax Advisor.
I haven't really used it much yet, but inputing my client information was very easy.
I need to take the time to find a QB forum on HOW TO CORRECT STUPID MISTAKES, but otherwise the program has been working as well as anticipated.

Comments about Intuit QuickBooks 2012 For Mac (1-User):
I have been using Quickbooks since 2006 (windows version) and it has been a great product. This is the first time I am using it in the mac version. I find it very transparent and I am able to import all my existing entries even from the windows version. For the price, I think I am getting a great deal out of it.
I wish they would have features that could work within the smartphone/ipad but they don't as of yet.
