Right out of the box the remote is a beauty. The packaging is easy to open and the remote comes with a recharging base station, installation CD and manuals. The software is a breeze to install and use once you gather the model number and manufactuer of all your electronics. I definitely enjoy the one touch method to perform an activity. The on-remote help feature is great, but I was forced to use the more indepth help in the software. I would say that if you want the remote to perform correctly you will need to be about a 3 out 10 on the technologically advanced scale. The remote worked about 95% correctly after the first setup. I would definitely recommend!

The standard set-up is fairly straight and simple. I have an Integra receiver, Sharp TV, LG Blu-Ray, and a cable box.... that's it.
All items are turning on and off, channel up and down, volume up and down properly...etc. However I am still not getting full funtion from all of the boxes.....and still need to break out one of the other remotes from time to time.

This is a replacement for a Harmony 720 that I just wore out. I loved the 720 but like this One Advanced even more. It works perfectly with all my components and the touch screen and buttons are more responsive that the 720. I was able to go to the Logitech website and replace the original 720 with the new One with no additional programming. This is a really great product!

I replaced my old Harmony 550 with the Harmony One. What an improvement! The hard buttons are precise and big enough so you won't accidently push two at once. The LCD screen has a touch sensitivity control that allows you to select the desired touch pressure. Why didn't I think of that! Using the Logitech internet connection allowed me to program the remote to my needs and to my liking. Yes...I would definitely buy the Harmony One again. It's a great remote.

I really like the Harmony. We use it to control the DVR, Flatscreen and the sound bar with a flick of the button. It was about a 30 minute procedure to set up... just make sure you have the model numbers, and remotes handy. I loaded the software on my PC and was not difficult. The display is bright and the buttons are layed out similar to my DVR remote. Works Great!

I previously owned a Harmony 1000 which I dropped and cracked the screen. An expensive loss but glad it happened. The 1000 was sluggish, tempermental and often froze requiring a reboot.
I got the Harmony One as a replacement at half the price I paid for the 1000, and love it. It provides the same functionality and is easier for the family to understand and use. Best part was I was able to transfer all the settings from my Harmony 1000 and input them into the Harmony One. Starting the right components for the desired activity with one button push is fantastic.

I got a pioneer receiver a samsung lcd tv and a ps3, also got some home appliance with remotes. For the basics works fine, but I haven't dedicate the necessary time to figure out the more complex and useful things about the harmony. I don't know how to use the learning infrared process. You need to spend some time getting used to and more time setting up.
