The HP12E 12-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier from SM Pro Audio is a professional-quality headphone amplifier that allows up to 12 users to listen to the same audio sources, ideal for live or studio monitoring, signal distribution, and more. The amp has a slim metal chassis that can be installed in any standard 19" equipment rack. Inside, there are 6 individual Class-A amplifier circuits, each of which drives a pair of 1/4" headphone outputs to deliver terrific audio quality and clarity with a wide frequency response and low distortion.

The rear panel has 2 main stereo inputs, which have XLR and 1/4" connectors for wide compatibility with a variety of sound sources. A pair of 1/4" link outputs let you daisy-chain multiple HP12E units in order to create a larger multi-user system. In addition to the 12 headphone jacks, the front panel has 6 volume control knobs, plus A/B source selector buttons. Each volume knob and selector button controls 2 of the headphone jacks. The amp has a built-in power supply, eliminating the need for bulky and unsightly power bricks and wall adapters. The unit also has a selectable operating voltage for international use.
