The SL1 Security Light from Intova has a super-bright 800 lumen LED and runs on 3 convenient, easy-to-find C batteries (not included). The concentrated beam (8°) design gives the flashlight a much longer range by preventing light falloff on the periphery. It has variable power (full/30%/strobe) modes for versatility, and the runtime at full output is 2 hours. It's waterproof (depth-rated to 400'/122 m), and has a durable aluminum construction with a scalloped bezel. The LED has an approximate life of 100,000 hours, making the SL1 essentially maintenance-free.
