International orders*The KDP-88 Portable Stage Piano by Adagio is a feature packed digital console piano with 88 weighted, velocity sensitive keys allowing for dynamic and expressive performances. It includes eight distinct voices ranging from Studio and Concert Grand Piano sounds to Electric Piano, Harpsichord, Vibes, Strings and Church Organ. Each voice contains a demo song demonstrating the piano's capabilities and providing inspiration.
The keys on the KDP-88 offer four levels of sensitivity to suit your playing preference - hard, medium, soft and fixed. Hard, medium and soft require corresponding amounts of strength to produce the maximum velocity of a particular note or chord. Fixed remains at the same volume no matter how hard or soft you play the keys. Dual voice functionality enables you to layer up to two voices to create rich, thick sounds. A popular example of this technique in modern recordings and performances is layering a Grand Piano sound with Strings to get a very elegant and dramatic effect. The two track sequencer allows you to record and playback your performances so you can study and perfect the execution of a composition. Also, the Transpose function allows the key of a performance to be easily changed up or down in half step increments. A metronome has been built-in to ensure proper timing and can be set to seven different time signatures ranging from 1/4 to 12/8. Tempo is also adjustable from 32 to 250 BPM (Beats Per Minute). A multi-function LED display allows you to view the key, time signature, volume and BPM parameters along with the voice and demo song names. The KDP-88 also features onboard Reverb and Chorus effects which can be applied to any of the eight voices. The reverb effect reproduces the sound of the instrument when played in different sized rooms or concert halls and offers three different reverb types. Multiple output options include two headphone jacks for private or late-night practice with yourself or a partner and a 1/4" line output for connectivity with amplifiers, mixers, tape recorders and stereo systems. MIDI In/Out has also been included and allows the piano to be used as a controller or interfaced with additional sound modules opening a world of limitless sounds and possibilities. Shipped with the KDP-88 is a matching stand and damper pedal which controls the sustain of single notes and chords adding yet another layer of dynamics and professionalism to your performances.| Keyboard Zones |
