The Kodak Hero 9.1 All-in-One Inkjet Printer provides lab-quality photo printing, document printing, scanning, and copying in a compact size that fits almost anywhere. The printer prints documents at 8.5 ipm in black and 5.5 ipm in color. Additionally, the printer offers low cost per page printing with its affordable ink cartridges. For an even lower cost per page, Kodak offers high-capacity cartridges. Additionally, the printer comes with full standard size ink cartridges, not the starter cartridges commonly found in other printer boxes.
This step-up version of the Hero 7.1 has a bigger 4.3" touchscreen, fax capabilities, and a 30-page ADF for multipage copying, scanning and faxing. The ADF makes it easy to scan stacks of up to 30 originals and save them to your computer or produce multiple copies. Additionally, the ADF makes it possible to scan and copy legal-size documents.
The printer's 2-ink cartridge system (1 color & 1 black) makes it easy to maintain and replace the print cartridges. The printer offers numerous connectivity options so you can print from almost anywhere. The built-in Wi-Fi capability means that you can print from anywhere on your home wireless network and you can put the printer in a more convenient location, not necessarily next to the computer. You can also print from most mobile devices including an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android device, or Blackberry. Additionally, print directly from the most commonly used memory cards right from the printer without a computer. You can even use the 2.4" LCD to find, view, organize, and print photos on a memory card. The printer is also compatible with Kodak Email Print Service which lets you print by simply sending an email with a file attachment to your printer's dedicated email address.
KODAK All-in-One Printer Home Center Software which comes with the printer lets you print individual frames from a video and even create a 3D picture viewable with 3D glasses (included) by following the included instructions. The software also lets you edit photos, select from a wide range of templates from notebook paper to calendars, see your printer's status (especially useful for Wi-Fi users), order supplies, and print images from Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, Picasa, and Google Docs.

Comments about Kodak Hero 9.1 All-In-One Inkjet Printer:
this printer is well suited for my needs. i use the wired network option and i can print from any computer on my network. ink is very reasonable priced. it is a bit slow on the network print. and the interface software could be a bit more user friendly.but overall a great product. i have been looking for a new printer for over a year and kept coming back to the Kodak. the auto feeder for faxing and copying is excellent. overall..printer great design, software needs some tweaking.

Comments about Kodak Hero 9.1 All-In-One Inkjet Printer:
I was looking to replace my old Canon 500 printer. Price of ink was a killer with 3 kids in school and ALWAYS printing something. Decided to go with the Kodak Hero 9.1. It got good reviews and their ink is cheapest around. I was impressed with ink quality of printed docs and pictures. It was easy to setup and configure. It took me 2 tries to setup the wireless but totally my fault 1st time through. Need to know your modem type and I was wrong. I am very happy with the price versus features and functionality of the printer. Already used the duplex, fax, copy and photo print features.

Comments about Kodak Hero 9.1 All-In-One Inkjet Printer:
Positives:
Cheap cost of ink
Reasonable cost of printer itself
Works great and duplex is much fast than my HP 8500. The ink drys faster making the print on both sides page creation faster. This printer prints beautiful photos and can can determine what tray to use based on what you are printing.
Negatives:
One color ink cartridge instead of separate cartridges for each color. Consequently, when one ink runs out, you must replace the entire color cartridge. The cheap cost of ink makes up for this deficiency.

Setting up instructions could be more clear for wireless. But once set up it is as promised.

Comments about Kodak Hero 9.1 All-In-One Inkjet Printer:
The set to automatic double side print is great.
Photo scan is improved and photos from SD (etc) is super with the touch screen. Many features available. Still have a tray for keeping 4X6 or 5X7 photo paper on board. Can work with 14" paper. A wee slow but worth it. Over the years, my 3rd update printer.
Never put "drug store" ink in a Kodak!
