Massiera Industries' primary focus is the creation of smart structures or expandable spaces to meet the challenges of the rising cost of real estate in a mercurial economy. The E.P.S. line invented by a photographer who decided to rebel against these obstructions and "think outside the box" (the company motto) by building his own. Each Expandable Photo Studio (E.P.S.) in the line is named after a colorful rebel or iconoclast.
The Massiera Industries El Macho Photo Studio, named after the masked Mexican wrestler, is a perfect space for portrait, wedding, and product photographers. It goes from suitcase size (34 x 27 x 12") to studio size (15' x 11' x 9.0') in minutes. The seams are water resistant and can handle wind gusts up to 15-20 mph. The pitch black interior gives you absolute control over your lighting while defeating reflections during your photo or video shoot. The El Macho is constructed from three ply material which reflects sun light, helps block heat and stray light and aids in maintaining a comfortable temperature inside. The included 24" fan creates minimal wind current and noise, while circulating the air in the warmer months. It can also be rigged to introduce warmer air in winter months. A set of stakes is included for outdoor use.
- Expandable Structure
- Massiera Industries' primary focus is on the development of forward thinking smart structures, also known as "Expandable Structure Technology". Brian Hedenberg, founder of Massiera Industries, works with architects and engineers worldwide to constantly improve the design and implementation of Massiera's products as well as develop new ideas for various industries
- Cost Conscious, Space Saving
- The EL Macho E.P.S is an ideal way for photographers to meet the challenges of a changing economy by expanding their resources and decreasing their overhead.
- Durable Design
- The E.P.S. is extremely fundamental. It is made of a water resistant lightweight polyethelene film (white on the outside / black on the inside). The film is composed of three layers. The outside reflects sunlight and absorbs UV rays. The middle layer absorbs light, helps keep the temperature stable, and adds extra durability. The third black layer catches any remaining stray light. Using ground stakes the E.P.S. can withstand winds up to 10-15 mph, as well as rain and sleet. It expands using a 24" high velocity drum fan (120V). The fan, which has handles and wheels is extremely quiet and creates virtually no wind current.
