Massiera Industries' primary focus is the creation of smart structures or expandable spaces to meet the challenges of the rising cost of real estate in a mercurial economy. The E.P.S. line invented by a photographer who decided to rebel against these obstructions and "think outside the box" (the company motto) by building his own. Each Expandable Photo Studio (E.P.S.) in the line is named after a colorful rebel or iconoclast.

The Massiera Industries Ruffian Photo Studio, is a perfect space for portrait, fashion, wedding and product photographers. It goes from suitcase size (34 x 27 x 12") to studio size (20' x 15' x 13') in minutes. The seams are water resistant and can handle wind gusts up to 15-20 mph so you never have to worry about your shoot being rained-out. The pitch black interior gives you absolute control over your lighting while defeating reflections during your photo or video shoot. The black roof panels are removable, revealing 2.0 - 3.0 stop diffusion material which allows you to take advantage of natural light and shoot with bounce cards if desired. The Ruffian is constructed from three ply material which reflects sun light, helps block heat and stray light and aids in maintaining a comfortable temperature inside. The included 24" drum fan creates minimal wind current and noise, while circulating the air in the warmer months. It can also be rigged to introduce warmer air in winter months. A set of ground stakes is included for outdoor use. Two 7.0 high zippered doors marked by a red stripe give access to the interior.
