The TouchSmart 520-1030 23" All-in-One Desktop Computer is a true all-in-one PC with a dual-core 3.30GHz Intel Core i3-2120 processor and Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) Operating System. It features 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM memory that's expandable to 8GB and a SATA 7200RPM hard drive with a storage capacity of 1TB. This TouchSmart also has integrated Intel HD graphics with 1696MB available memory as allotted by Windows 7.
For establishing a wired or wireless connection to the Internet, the PC has a 10/100/1000 Gigabit LAN Ethernet port and supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It has an optical drive that features a slot-loading SuperMulti DVD and CD burner. The TouchSmart also includes a number of different connections and ports: a headphone/mic jack, line-out jack, seven USB 2.0 ports, and a 6-in-1 card reader that supports SD, SDHC, MMC, MS and MS Pro formats. In addition, this desktop also has a jack for connecting a subwoofer, if you want to add extra bass for games or music.
This TouchSmart comes with a wireless optical mouse and wireless keyboard as well as an integrated webcam and microphone. For quality sound, the computer features integrated speakers that utilize Beats Audio. For the all-important visual, this computer boasts a 23" widescreen HD LED-backlit display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 250 nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 5 ms response time. I wanted some computer that I could proudly put in a living room. This looks like a good fit. Kids love it. The touch screen is helpful especially when you are browsing and doing some kitchen work at the same time where there is some slight dirt in your hand and you do not want to touch the keyboard or mouse. The screen is easy to clean. HP comes with its own browser especially meant for touch browsing.
