The 13.3" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer from Apple is a powerful notebook computer with an innovative aluminum unibody design. It is loaded with advanced power management features and an integrated battery, which work together to provide up to 7 hours of wireless web browsing.
You may notice an unfamiliar logo next to one of the ports on the left side of the system. This is Thunderbolt, a high-speed interface that can move data at an amazing 10Gbps, which is double that of USB 3.0. The Thunderbolt port also doubles as a display output because it shares the same physical form factor as a Mini DisplayPort. You can daisy-chain up to six devices, so you'll be able to connect high-speed external storage and an external Apple LED Cinema display via the same port!
The computer's 13.3" display features LED backlight technology and a glossy finish. Its 1280 x 800 native resolution gives you ample screen space to work with. You'll be able to output to an external display at up to 2560 x 1600 via Thunderbolt. Any Mini DisplayPort-compatible display will plug in without the need of an adapter. If you have a display with DVI, VGA or HDMI input, you'll only need to purchase an adapter cable (i.e., HDMI-to-Mini DisplayPort) for connection.
You'll be able to communicate with friends and family thanks to built-in support for FaceTime chat. The computer's FaceTime HD camera supports 720p HD video chat via the included app. You can make video calls to other Mac users with FaceTime as well as to anyone with an iPhone 4, iPhone 4S or an iPod touch model with a built-in camera.
The system is powered by a dual-core 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor. The computer is loaded with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive and a SuperDrive DVD burner. You'll be able to connect to the Internet with ease via 802.11n Wi-Fi or wired Gigabit Ethernet. The MacBook Pro also features built-in Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, which allows you to connect wireless headphones, keyboard, mice and other compatible peripherals without a hassle.
Graphics are handled by integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics, which gives you the best of both worlds in regards of battery life and performance. The MacBook Pro uses integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics for everyday use, such as web browsing and word processing. It is also capable of HD video playback.
The computer features a comfortable backlit chiclet-style keyboard, which features space between each key for improved accuracy and comfort when typing. It also sports a glass Multi-Touch trackpad with a clickable design. Rather than having a separate button for mouse clicks, the entire surface of the pad is clickable. This increases the active surface area and allows you to quickly click without having to maneuver to the bottom of the trackpad.
The trackpad also fully supports Multi-touch gestures. You can tap the trackpad with one finger to click, tap with two fingers to right click, scroll through documents using two fingers, pinch to zoom, navigate through Safari or iPhoto with three-finger left and right swipes or use two fingers to rotate a photo or PDF.
iLife '11 has a complete suite of digital creativity applications. Easy enough for anyone to use, iLife '11 will help you edit your home movies, organize digital photos and compose original music. iLife '11 includes iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand.
The 64-bit Mac OS X Lion features Time Machine backup, which automatically backs up system data to an external hard drive. It also features intuitive Cover Flow navigation, the powerful Spotlight search tool and Quick Look document preview. You'll be able to use Boot Camp to run Windows on your Mac, if needed.

Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
Easy to use, graphics are crisp, snappy performance. Love the track pad. Took right to using it. Everything feels natural, makes PC's feel antiquated & clunky.
They seem pricey, but for what you DON'T get it's very well worth it.

Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
I made some comparison between the MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air, both for 13' are at similar price. I'm photographer and web designer, so I need power and portability. I decided to go for the MacBook Pro because the processor is powerful (i5 Dual-Core) than the Air (i5 Single Core).I recomend to buy 8GB of memory RAM, the heavy aplications as Lightroom 4 of PS CS5.5 works smoothly with 8GB (I found an offer for memory expansion). Air does not offer memory expansion. It's a little bit heavier than the Air (4.5 lb / 2.04 kg VS 2.96 lb / 1.34 kg) but you will win in power. Since the battery life is about 6/7hs (5hs if you are working harder) it is not necessary to carry on the charger all the time.If you are looking for a powerful MacBook at good price, this your best choice. I also prefer to buy here. It's a better deal. No doubts.

This is a good laptop for several reasons. It has a large enough screen to do real work, but it is still light enough to be portable. I increased the memory to 8 GByte for better operation system performance. It is no surprise that the 13.3" MacBook Pro is one of Apple's best selling laptops.

As soon as you unbox the macbook pro the magic happens. The macbook pro is the best notebook for those who like to travel a lot because it has a long battery life. The macbook pro is the best for those who like to multi task, you can open up to eight applications at once and be working on all of them. The macbook pro is perfect for filmmakers and Visual effects artist which is what i use it for, its memory is perfect to hold all those softwares that a computer with less memory can't barely handle. It's i5 intel core processor is the fastest for applications, it's high speed thunderbolt faster than previous versions. The macbook pro comes in great condition with a nice solid aluminum body, a clear glossy glass screen, it's backlit keyboard makes it great for typing in the dark especially when traveling on airplane. the macbook pro comes with a glass trackpad which makes it smoother, with multi touch to slide through pages and go up or down, The late 2011 macbook pro has never been better than ever.

Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Pro Notebook Computer:
I'm a college student and use my macbook mainly for school work. It is my first apple computer and I'm glad that I made the switch. The computer is expensive, and tech wise, overpriced for its hardware. However, the service from [@], portability, included software suite, battery life, and functionality makes it the perfect computer for a busy student. The software allows you to multi-task very easily and it a huge selling point. Some software and hardware is not compatible with the new macbook computers.

• It's a Mac, that should say it all.
• I got the MacBook Pro to carry around for internet, email and to use the Adobe Creative Suite to do my work. I have a much larger Mac for studio use.
• Easy to setup and use.
• Powerful, fast, yet light weight for easy transport.
Cons
• The only less than great thing about the product is the "tinniness" of the speakers.
