With 2600 ISO lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1 the SVGA-resolution Epson PowerLite S11 Multimedia Projector has the projection power to present large images in venues where ambient light would be a problem for lesser projectors.
However, it's a gentle giant that works and plays well with others. It's got an international 100 to 240 V AC 50/60Hz power supply and it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals.
All of those signals benefit from the bright and high contrast Epson 3LCD projector panel. 3LCD delivers clear and vibrant images so true to life you may not believe your eyes.
The PowerLite S11 is also PC friendly. You can plug your PC into the USB Type A port and use it to project a slide show or presentation. You can use the projector's USB Type B port to use the remote control as a wireless mouse. You can also plug in a USB flash drive or camera and present without a PC at all.
With direct power on you can set the S11 to turn itself on as soon as it's plugged into the wall socket. And with Epson's instant off technology there is no cool down period. As soon as you turn the projector off you can pack it into its included carrying case and move on.

Comments about Epson PowerLite S11 Multimedia Projector:
This item does everything i need for a presentation...except produce sound. I made this purchase for three main reasons: 1) to make presentations; 2) because it takes a flash/thumb drive in a USB slot; and 3) it has a speaker jack. Presentations are very clear. Videos don't play from my flash drive. And i can't make sound come through the speakers from my computer, the flash drive or another piece of equipment. The instructions are very scant and don't cover how to get the speaker to work.

Comments about Epson PowerLite S11 Multimedia Projector:
This projector gets a lot of use and with its lightweight, plastic box it stays cooler and we have had great success with Epson LCD projectors in the past over other brands. It is also a good machine for its reasonable price.

Comments about Epson PowerLite S11 Multimedia Projector:
bought for use in classroom setting where normally much biefier projectors would be selected. The Powerlite S11 works so well even with considerable ambient light and is so simple to operate, it will remain my choice.
