Plantronics Battery for Savi W440 and W740

The Battery for Savi W440 and W740 by Plantronics is a convenient backup or replacement battery for Plantronic's Savi W440 and W740 convertible headsets. On a full charge, it provides up to 7 hours of talk time, 50 hours of standby and up to 75 days of storage time when removed from the headset.

When using the battery for the first time it must be charged for a minimum of twenty minutes. A full charge is reached after three hours. The battery charges by either docking the headset on the charge cradle included with your Savi system or by using the Deluxe USB charging cable. A Deluxe Charging Cradle can also be purchased separately allowing you to charge an extra battery and your headset simultaneously.

Installation is easy, simply place the battery on the inside of the headset and slide it into position. The battery can be switched in mid-call without getting disconnected as long as you reattach the new battery within five minutes. This provides the W740 and W440 headsets with unlimited talk time and an excellent reason to have a spare battery on hand.

Note! Talk time is reduced when operating in wideband mode or if the headset is used at a long distance from the base for prolonged periods of time.
