The Puffin Pad Long Lens Support from Puffin Pad is an innovative, lightweight alternative to using a beanbag to support a long telephoto lens. The Puffin Pad is constructed of closed-cell foam, and a 1/2" deep memory foam top adopts the shape of your lens barrel.
The bottom of the pad has a round groove that gives way to a deeper slot. The first level is for straddling a relatively slim object such as the top of a gate or a car door with the window down. The deeper slot is for mounting your lens and the attached camera body directly onto a half-rolled window. For shooting from flat surfaces, you can flip over the Puffin Pad and nestle the lens into the wide groove.
The Puffin Pad is also appropriate for supporting small camcorders and cameras with shorter telephoto lenses.

Comments about Puffin Pad Long Lens Support:
The puffin pad is the best photography gadget I've purchased in quite some time. It is much more functional for me (in my vehicle) than a bean bag. I successfully used it with a Canon EF600mm f/4.0. The top of the pad is open cell foam, rather light weight, so I don't expect a long life, but it worked well.

A lot of bang for the buck. The Puffin Pad does everything it is advertised to do and more. Of all the gadgets you could buy this has got to be one of the most versatile and useful.
