This Giotttos Background Support System is sturdy, portable, and will work with cloth and paper backgrounds from 6-1/2' to 9.75' in width. Giotto's 10.5' Air Cushioned stands protect equipment and fingers from damage due to insufficient tightening of the stand section locks.
The 3 section crossbar may be used as its full width, or 2 of the sections may be used, if less wide backgrounds are in use. A nylon case with handle is included for storage and transport.

Comments about Giottos Background Support System - 9.75' Wide:
I use it to hold a paper roll, 54". Can also accomodate a 107" roll of paper. I use this in my studio for the most part. Other times I use it on a location shot. Becareful on sights that are not indoors, wind will easily blow it over. Also be very careful with the top tighteners. Over tightening them will cause the screw to POP out, and no longer allow you to tighten down the cross bar to the top. So right now...I'm looking to replace the top attachments.
Comments about Giottos Background Support System - 9.75' Wide:
I found the stands themselves didn't lock in to place and would slip down easily, but my biggest disappointment was the cross bar, which screwed together with a fairly small lag screw and sagged at the joint very easily. Even right after screwing it together, the cross bar wasn't even close to straight.I opted for the new Photoflex ProDuty Backdrop kit to be much sturdier for esentially the same money. I miss the air cushioned stands, but that isn't the most important point for me.Currently B&H doesn't carry the Photoflex kit, but hopefully they will soon.
Problems Encountered: Stands don't lock.Cross bar very weak at joint.
