The Olympus LH-48 Lens Hood is a square-cut lens hood specifically designed for the Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0 lens. Due to the threaded design of the lens hood, it can be mounted in any position on the front of the lens to prevent excess light from entering the lens, causing lens flare. The silver metal design perfectly complements the look of the lens itself.

Perfect match to the 12mm silver metal lens. Sturdy and a classic shape carry this Olympus brand to the top of my accessory list! Yes pricy, well, so is the lens it protects from sun glare and knock-around abuse.

This is a nice accessory for the 12mm lens. It fits tightly on the lens front and uses a set screw with a tighting ring to clamp it to the lens barrel. It functions well, and looks great on my camera. HOWEVER, it is very pricey for a lens shade. Olympus should reqally include this with the lens!

A very well built lens hood that should be included with the DZ 12mm f2.0. I'm giving only 4 stars because of the price. The M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150 mm f4.0-5.6 R Lens for Micro 4/3 costs $249.00 and is an excellent lens, I just don't understand why a simple piece of metal and plastic can cost more than a third of this lens
