The MG3120's Smartphone printing cuts out the extra step of emailing a file from your Smartphone to your computer just to print it; simply send the file directly from your mobile device to the printer. The built-in flatbed scanner provides the ability to scan both photos and documents with an auto scan mode that can detect whether you are scanning a photo or a document. Should a photo need to be corrected, simply use the Auto Photo Fix II to ensure your scanned photos look their best. Comments about Canon Pixma MG4120 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer:
wireless works great. However, printed pages were of poor quality. I use an Epson printer for photos and this to print everything else. I returned it due to the poor print quality combined with my inability to reach tech support due to long cues on their help line. Then I reordered a new one on the premise that the first was defective only to find poor print quality again. Called Canon and decided this time to wait on the cue. Spent a very long time on the phone, at least an hour or two, with Canon tech support printing many test copies then faxing and/or emailing them to the tech support person, then being put on hold while they analyzed the test samples and plan new tests with different settings. Finally they came up with settings that work OK, pretty good. Original print quality was off color and very faded, now it is acceptable and clear. We did this by kicking up the quality which has the consequence of using more ink. I stopped short of the next step which would maximize ink consumption. I think I have a balance that I can live with because I use it for personal use. And I love the wireless feature. I use it with a Macbook Pro.
