This compact portable device affords you the opportunity to watch live digital TV programming on a 9" widescreen display with 640 x 234 pixel resolution virtually anywhere. Just think -- road trips, family vacations, business trips, and long layovers could become opportunities to catch up on your shows or keep tabs on the game. Since it picks up free off-air DTV RF channels, you'll never have to worry about missing your shows just because you're out and about.
The DPDM90R is more than a portable television, it's a disc player too, so feel free to bring along your favorite DVDs, CD/CD-R/RW and JPEG file discs to enjoy movies, music and photos. Like any good portable device, it features multiple power options. It can operate using its built-in lithium-polymer battery or you can use the included adapters to plug it into a wall outlet or power it up in the car. Once you have a full charge, the battery has the durability to deliver more than two hours of video playback.
The DPDM90R supports MPEG-2 (MP@ML / MP@HL) video decoding and ATSC 18 formats. The device also supports Dolby Digital Audio, JPEG, MP3, AVI, MPEG, DivX files and Digital Multi-Lingual audio. The built-in speakers allow you to enjoy premium sound with your video, and for times when you don't want to disturb others (or be disturbed) there's a convenient stereo-mini headphone jack. Simply connect a pair of standard headphones and you're good to go.
The user-interface is intuitive and affords convenient buttons to navigate on-screen menus. Plus, for enhanced flexibility, the DPDM90R supports on-screen program information display, as well as CC Digital Closed Captioning. Other features include: on-screen channel banner display, channel editing, real-time signal strength display as well as auto time setting and auto channel scan. One more thing: your ticket to on-the-go entertainment comes with a very wallet-friendly price tag, making it perfect for budget-conscious multimedia enthusiasts everywhere.
