This Starter Pack With Narrow Head from Polecam is a single operator broadcast-quality camera crane that provides a quick and simple way to capture smooth, floating crane shots shooting video with minicams, split head cameras or PoVCams.

All the basics are here: an ultralight carbon fiber support pole that can vary from 4' to 20' in length, in 4' increments; a pan and tilt head that has 3 full revolutions of horizontal rotation (1000°:) and 280° of vertical rotation; a joystick controller to run the pan & tilt head; an interface unit for all power and control connections; a body harness and tripod mount for switching between holding the jib and mounting it to a tripod; and counterweights and covers. This lightweight, transportable rig operates off battery (V-lock battery or Anton Bauer battery with adapter) or AC power.

This kit also has the Narrow Head, an electronic head with superb control characteristics, precise damping and great flexibility that's ideal for minicams, split head cameras or PoVCams. The Narrow Head uses a 12-bit PID motion controller to regulate the pan and tilt axis via a closed-loop configuration, so that you get an extremely accurate and easily controllable head. It has a load capacity of 4 lb and can complete a 360° pan as quickly as 2.75 seconds or as slowly as 15 minutes.
