Polecam USA Full Rig Narrow

Want an affordable way to boost the production values of all of your video shoots? This Full Rig Narrow from Polecam is a single operator broadcast-quality camera crane that provides a quick, simple and inexpensive way to capture smooth, floating crane shots using minicams, split head cameras or PoVCams. It includes the Narrow Head, a small profile head for minicams, split head cameras and PoVCams that give you access to angles and points of view that haven't been possible before.

This is a complete lightweight crane rig with everything you need to capture beautiful crane shots using a DSLR camera: an ultralight carbon fiber support pole that can vary from 4' to 20' in length, in 4' increments; a pan and tilt head that has unlimited horizontal rotation and 280° of vertical rotation; a proportional joystick controller to run the pan & tilt head; an interface unit for all power and control connections; a body harness and tripod mount for switching between holding the jib and mounting it to a standard lightweight tripod; and counterweights and covers. This easily transportable rig operates off battery or AC power. An 80W/15V A/C power supply unit and V-lock battery plates are included.

This kit also has the Narrow Head, an electronic head with superb control characteristics, precise damping and great flexibility that's ideal for minicams, split head cameras or PoVCams. The Narrow Head uses a 12-bit PID motion controller to regulate the pan and tilt axis via a closed-loop configuration, so that you get an extremely accurate and easily controllable head. It has a load capacity of 4 lb and can complete a 360° pan as quickly as 2.75 seconds or as slowly as 15 minutes.

All the gear fits into the included Unit Bag and Mast Bag, and a head cover, back end cover, and joystick cover are all included.
