For connecting external devices, the computer features a number of different ports and connections. It has a total of seven USB 2.0 ports, a line-out jack, a headphone/mic jack, and a memory card reader slot that can read six different formats. Those formats include Secure Digital (SD, SDHC), MultiMedia Card, Memory Stick, and Memory Stick Pro.
The computer is powered by a dual-core 2.6GHz Intel Pentium G620 CPU and relies upon the integrated Intel HD Graphics for processing all visuals. Up to 1696MB total available graphics memory can be allotted by Windows to more quickly execute visuals. Beyond the CPU and graphics, the computer is also loaded with 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and a SuperMulti DVD burner.
For connecting to the Internet, this computer supports 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and has a Gigabit Ethernet port.To facilitate with security, entertainment, productivity, and trouble shooting, a software suite is preloaded. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system and the included USB mouse and keyboard allow for easy navigation.
