The N53SV-DH51 15.6" Notebook Computer (Silver) from ASUS has powerful 2nd generation Intel Core processing power and seamless multitasking capabilities to allow you to achieve as well as enjoy more from your computer with greater energy efficiency and a smooth user experience.
The 15.6" widescreen display is backlit with LED lamps, which brighten faster, are more energy efficient and provide better image quality than their CCFL counterparts. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is the same standard for HDTVs. The NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics card with 1GB of dedicated memory provides a 1920 x 1080 native resolution.
The system is powered by a dual-core 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-2430M processor. It also has 6GB of DDR3 RAM, a 640GB 5400rpm hard drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, an integrated webcam and microphone as well as built-in ASUS SonicMaster stereo speakers (co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower Audio). Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

I use this laptop for editing photos and wanted the 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. It's tough to get so this laptop is ideal. It was good value for the money and so far I'm very happy with the performance. Only negative - I wish I'd purchased the I7 for more speed and I'm still trying to get used to the keyboard. Didn't need the number pad on the side as it makes the key area small for typing. But overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
