Cache-A Power-Cache 1500 GB LTO-5 Library Drive

The Power-Cache 1500 GB LTO-5 Library Drive from Cache-A is an additional drive for library products CA-L5024 and CA-L5048. You can add one Power-Cache LTO-5 Library Drive to CA-L5024 and up to three drives to CA-L5048.

Cache-A's new Power-Cache model delivers 8 TB of RAID, accessed as network attached storage to provide a convenient central repository for your content to be archived. LTO Tape drives can be added to any system in a stand alone rack accessory or embedded into one of our automated Library options - 2 tape drives and 36 TB of near-line capacity in the Library24 and up to 4 tape drives and 72 TB of near line capacity in our Library48 option.

Stand alone drives in singles or pairs require just a one RU rack module and allow you to access your shelf-stored content quickly and conveniently as well as providing an excellent location to leverage our high-speed LTO tape dubbing capability.

Because Power-Cache dedicates a separate solid state drive to run the operating system, archiving management and user interface, the full bandwidth of the RAID array is reserved for transferring your data at the highest speeds possible. Power-Cache's ability to control up to 4 tape drives concurrently (up to 2 at full speed) is enabled in part by the super speedy 10 GB Ethernet connections (SFP+) ready to integrate into the fastest network backbones.

Works with up to 4 tapes drives in Library or External 1 RU chassis in any combination
