I had purchased a 4-card CF Pelican card case previously, so when it came time to think of protecting my SD cards, I did not hesitate to order the same case. Well, it turned out not to be the same. While the outside shell and latch were the same high quality offering unequaled protection, the former hard rubber inserts were replaced with less dense foam. The foam makes inserting and removing the cards much more difficult in my opinion. The card pushes against the sides of the foam opening and does not seat easily inside the holder. You have to really work at not trapping any foam behind the card or it will just pop out. The hard rubber of the previous holder was such an easier material to work with especially when you are trying to quickly reload you camera so as not to miss the shot. As others have stated, it's often true that when you open the case, a card that was not totally seated inside the foam will fall out, with potentially disastrous results. Pelican would be wise to go back to using the original rubber insert material.

But the foam core is horrible. the cards fit OK in some of the slots, but most of them are so dis-formed that the cards are hard to get in to the shape or they just pop out, once you place them in. I can't afford to to open a tough case and have the cards all fly out since they're not secure in the foam insert. Gepe has rubber inserts that have kept the cards in place securely and easy to get in and out. Just wish they made a bigger one like this one is.

I use this for organizing and storing all my SDHC memory cards for my DSLRs.
The only criticism/observation regarding its use and construction is both a positive and occasionally a challenge: the latch snaps very tight (good - I'm guessing it provides moisture protection). So tight that sometimes it's a bit of a struggle to open it.

Comments about Pelican 0915 Memory Card Case:
Overall not a bad product. It's built tough, has good weather seals, and provides a great protective storage for run and gun videography. Only negative is, the slots that hold the SD cards don't lock them in as well as i'd like. Usually every time i open the case at least one of the cards has been dislodged from its slot. This isn't a deal breaker.

I really like this case because I can add several different sizes of cards, it also holds a lot of cards so I can keep all but my CF cards in one case. I have another case like this for my CF cards and love it also, these are well build and waterproof which is great while leading a tour in the Smoky Mtn nat park in all kinds of weather, this limits the number of cases I have to carry yet have access to all my cards quick and convienent without having to hunt for my cards all the time. love the case

I use this to transport my "product". Unfortunately it does not secure the cards within the case. I have similar cases from pelican that are earlier models. I was expecting an upgrade in quality. Unfortunately there was not.

Comments about Pelican 0915 Memory Card Case:
Case is excellent in most respects and I am very pleased with it and glad I purchased it. However, with the case I received the six SD card "cut-outs" on the right side of the case are a tad small and difficult to get the cards into securely. The SD cards tend to come out of their openings on that side (but remain within the locked case of course) if it gets jostled in my pocket. Oddly, the cut-outs on the left side fit perfectly and holds the cards securely. A small anoyance and one I can live with but I wouldn't expect this from Pelican, they are usually top notch.

Comments about Pelican 0915 Memory Card Case:
I got the case and yeah, it does take a bit of effort to get it open, but that also means it won't open and dump my memory out, which is nice because I have multiple micro SD cards in it...easy to lose. It should hold my SD and micro SD cards really well, and since you can stuff the micro
cards under a full size card, I can carry a pretty good sized pile of SD cards with me, along with a couple of SD to micro adapters. I may just buy another one of these cases soon.

Comments about Pelican 0915 Memory Card Case:
Well, I had bought a couple of Pelican memory card cases for my CF cards a few years ago, and have loved them. When it was time to buy a case for the SD cards for my new camera, I naturally turned to Pelican. It seems the new ones are not as heavy duty and well made as the older cases. They are lighter weight plastic, and the molded liner is more foam-like compared to the durable rubber-type material of the older cases. I don't see these being as protective or lasting as long as the older cases. They must be cheaper to manufacture this way, but are not as good a product by my assessment.

Best combination of form and function for storing SD cards. I own two cases and will inevitably buy more. This will keep your cards from getting crushed, soaked, lost, etc, amidst other gear. The price is right.

I purchased the Memory Card case made by Pelican. It is very nice. B&H got this thing sent out quickly. I use it to store all my SD cards that I keep in my camera bag. It is light and is VERY durable. It is also waterproof; so the only thing is it can be hard to open up.

This case does exactly as advertised. It's super durable, and has plenty of space to hold all my SD cards in one convenient box. I wish it were a tad thinner though.
