The Video Messenger DV5-15 All-In-One 15.6" Wi-Fi SD Digital Signboard is a bright 15.6" display monitor with a digital signage player built into it. The all-in-one device is Wi-Fi-ready and displays video, images, PowerPoint presentations, and crawl tickers, all according to a schedule, all in SD. And it achieves a neat appearance with its power supply cable being its only cable.
It can alternatively be connected over Ethernet.
The DV5-15 can be scheduled to display one visual at a time, via an included single-pane template, scheduled by time, by day, or in repeating loops. An included sign-management software manages the templates and scheduling. The software has a PC interface and is very easy to use.
(Larger DV5s -- the DV5-18 and the DV5-24 -- can display up to all four of the visuals at the same time on the same screen)
400 licensed PowerPoint backgrounds are also included with the DV5. After text is entered into them, the sign-management software converts the .ppt PowerPoint files into still images for display. Additional backgrounds can be downloaded and incorporated as well.
The DV5-15 features a 2GB on-board flash memory that stores 120 minutes of 2Mbps SD video, and it also has an expandable SDHC card slot.
Video Messenger Company provides optional networking services for those who wish to operate a large number of signboards from one central location. VMC also offers free weekly training webinars and free 90-day phone support. Moreover, in addition to an included 1-year warranty, VMC offers an extended warranty that guarantees 24-hour replacement of the DV5 if phone-troubleshooting doesn't help. The extended warranty can be obtained within 90 days of purchase and is renewable every year for up to four years.
