The 4-Port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub from Aluratek offers a total of four USB 3.0 ports for high-speed device connectivity with your computer. You can connect external hard drives, USB printers, camcorders, cameras, and more to the hub and transfer data to your Windows computer at a speed of no greater than 5Gbps, which is ten times faster than USB 2.0. I was tired of plugging and unplugging peripheral devices so I purchased this USB hub to add more ports. Works fine. I have had zero problems. Price is good.

Comments about Aluratek 4-Port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub:
Works as advertised. It runs my backup drives so I don't want them running all the time. I disconnected the USB3 cable, but they still run. You have to remove the power cable as well:) They will run as USB2 connection without the power cable connected.

Comments about Aluratek 4-Port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub:
Takes the burden of bus powered drives off of my laptop. Plus the addition of four high speed USB 3.0 ports can't be beat. Very pleased. Only drawback is it needs to be reset on start up or sometimes my PC doesn't recognize it's there.

Comments about Aluratek 4-Port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub:
This hub installed fine and works great. The only downside is the short USB 3.0 cable that came with it. I connected the hub to my USB 3.0 port on my desktop tower which is located below my desktop. The cable is not long enough to place the hub on the desktop. I presently have it sitting on top of the tower. In this day and age, I was very surprised that the company did not supply a 5-6 foot cable. Especially, since the cable is very different than a typical USB 2.0 at the unit side.

Comments about Aluratek 4-Port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub:
The only reason I gave this 4-port USB 3.0 hub a 4 star instead of 5 stars is I've only had it a couple of weeks, it will take a couple of years to test the longevity of the product. I tested it on both windows 7 and windows XP. Both recognized it and ran with it right away.
Amazing fast at moving large files. What used to take 50 minutes to move 50 gigs on the old 2.0 USB now takes 6 or 7 minutes.
