I was interested in taking some time-lapse videos of events & production setups, and this device is dreamy for the purpose!
The Good: IT'S INEXPENSIVE! The construction quality is decent considering the very low price. You can remove the clip from the stand and use it on a regular tripod (it screws onto the foot like a normal camera would). The little tripod is quite flexible yet sturdy, offering a decent range of positions. The tripod and the iphone holder kinda click together and can travel as flat as a fat marker, making the thing quite portable. I put it in my back pocket and forgot it was there for a whole day! The screw-together joint between the two parts is solid, and the overall construction is solid as well. Also, my wife discovered that it can be used as a little lectern! She puts her iphone on it to read her book while she eats breakfast!
The Bad: If the tripod legs were only just a *little* longer, it would improve stability. But hey it's a *mini* tripod, and it's stable enough for its size.
The Ugly: The plastic frame that holds the iphone is made of a rubbery plastic that is meant to hold its shape... but will it? I hope it does, but I can see how overexposure to the sun & other elements might wear out the form-fitting quality of the frame piece. That however would take years.
Conclusion: For the price of a hamburger & fries you have a permanent solution for phone stability while shooting video and taking timed photos! It seems built to last, and for the low price I don't care of it doesn't. And yes, I'd probably look to buy the same one again.

If you don't have your phone in a case, I would rate it higher, but it gets a low rating from me since in my case it simply isn't worth the trouble.

Really easy way to add 1/4 20 thread mount to your iPhone 4 or 4s. Does not fit around your case, only naked iPhone. Snug fit holds phone secure enough for quick face time or videos. I would not take it into the mosh pit or jump around with it though.

Snug fit - doesn't feel like it will come loose at all, even sideways or upside down. Sturdy, good tripod connection. The little tripod feed are flexible and fold in for minimal space requirement. Only issue is that it won;t fit around an existing iphone sleeve, and the attachment is big enough that you won;t be able to have it on and fit inside your case. But then you wouldn't expect it to cater for either situation.

I currently use this handy adapter with my iphone 4s and tripod. Great for quick setups and easy recordings.
I love that I can use my iphone 4s with this to get smooth, full HD video.
Price is what it is. But to be able to take advantage of a quality tripod is well worth it.
Haven't used the kickstand really, wasn't even expecting the mini tripod it came with.
I dont like that I have to remove my case for it to fit.
