Ape Case ACHC5700 Large Roller Hard Case (Black/Gray)
The black/gray ACHC5700 Large Roller Hard Case from Ape Case is a reliable way to safely store and/or transport your gear. The ACHC5700 roller case is slightly larger than the similar ACHC5650 version. The 5700 gives you a bit more internal storage space but has the same features as the smaller model. With its solid aluminum frame, reinforced steel corners and ABS walls, this case is made to stand the abuse that occurs during normal travel and deliver your gear intact.
The exterior shows black panels with a handsome gray trim. The hinges are padded and also made to heavy-duty specifications. There's even a convenient keyed lock that comes with two keys. In addition, a padlock loop will accept a user-supplied TSA approved lock.
Inside, the case comes with "pick and pluck" foam as well as adjustable dividers to suit whatever gear you need. The foam provides a comfortable and secure nest in which to customize your equipment into their own space. The dividers provide less cushioning but allow you to compartmentalize your gear for organizational purposes.
The interior foam is made from Ape's Hi Vis Yellow material that makes it easy to locate gear within the bag when the light is marginal. Choose whichever mode of packing, foam or dividers, suits your needs. A strong removable shoulder strap makes toting it around easier and more comfortable. There's also a durable hinged top carry handle. This case comes with two heavy-duty wheels that make navigating through airports and crowded hallways much easier. The wheels are supported by a convenient and easy-to-use retractable pull handle. The wheeled cart itself is easily removed when you don't want to use it. The case comes with a 1-year warranty from Ape.

My company purchased this transport computer equipment and its perfect for the job. I use both the customizable foam and the dividers depending on what I am transporting that day. The yellow interior is a nice touch. It makes seeing your items easy. The product is strong and it's got a high tech look to it. We will purchase some of the other sizes this product comes in for other projects.

I purchased two of these cases to protect artwork traveling to and from trade shows. After the very first one flight they were put on both cases had buckled, the locks on one had broken. Then when wheeling the cases to the show the whole roller handle snapped off.
These cases are cheaply made and totally useless. I wouldn't never recommend to anyone. Instead I will reverting back to the pelican cases which lasted me over three years good service.

I use this case for camera gear.
Currently it's loaded with a Canon 7D w/battery grip attached, a Sigma 50-500 zoom, a Canon 85 mm 1.8, Canon 100 mm macro lens, Canon 28-135 zoom and a Canon 17-40 zoom.
Also two flash units, battery charger and other accessories with room to spare ! When using the wheeled cart I strap my tripod across the top.
I do recommend careful planing when it comes to layout of your gear as the pull and pluck foam holds everything nice and snug but once you pluck it...Well it's plucked .
All in all I have to say I'm very pleased with this purchase,it holds all my gear, it's built tough ( I use it as a seat too) it's deep and has great padding.
And most of all the price is right !
