Ape Case ACPRO1000 Digital SLR Camera Case (Black)
The black ACPRO1000 Digital SLR Camera Case from Ape Case is an effective combination of reliability, functionality and price. This water-resistant nylon bag is your basic shoulder bag with all the features you need to get the job done without paying a hefty price. Built to hold 1-2 DSLRs (one with lens attached), a couple of lenses or your digital camcorder, this bag proves that big things do occasionally come in small packages.
The tough nylon exterior is complimented by a smooth-lined interior that is filled with padded, movable dividers that permit you to arrange your Pro bag to accommodate whatever gear you need that day. The dividers are not only padded but are bright yellow making them easy to see in marginal light - let's say, if you're shooting in a dark club or concert. It's a clever addition to a shooting bag that is designed to make your life easier in the field.
Within the bag itself there are fifteen pockets and compartments - more than enough to carry lens and accessories like batteries, cables, pens, filters, cleaning cloths or your cell phone, MP3 player or PDA. A zippered exterior accessory pocket keeps all the small stuff together while an internal mesh pocket serves the same purpose for quick grab items. Working in the field can build up a thirst so Ape has even included a side pull out water bottle pocket. Zippers are supplied for rapid access to the main compartment and accessory pockets while a front snap buckle makes sure the bag stays shut when you want it to stay shut.
The Pro is carried around by its removable, adjustable and wide shoulder strap that has an extra wide contoured shoulder pad for added comfort. For those quick grab moments, there's an additional ribbed top grab handle. An ID holder slot is located on the inside of the front flap that can hold your name or business cards. All this is backed by Ape's limited lifetime warranty against defects. For what it offers at a reasonable price point, it's a serious contender for a daily shooting bag for pro or amateur.

The size is exactally what I need and still has plenty of room for the 2 new lenses I want. I no longer have to take something out to get to the other thing I need! I like the shoulder strap (and no plastic hooks or eye's, they are metal), zippers work smoothly, outside pockets are a great size. The best thing is the yellow interior color, so much easier to find the black everything else lol.
So looking forward to having it on my trip next month. I am pretty fussy about having things organized and my new Ape Case allows me to do just that. It is the best birthday gift I have given me in a long time!
The waterproof exterior, excellent padding, rubber footed bag is everything I was looking for. One othe big plus is the fabric used on the back of the case does not pill or snag the fabric on my clothing. The over all quality of the Ape Case exceeded my expectations and the price was right in line with my budget.
The biggest problem I had was deciding on size, not so big that wt would be an issue, but enough room to accomodate the photography equipment I have (with room to grow). ACPRO1000 Digital SLR Camera Case from Ape Case has filled the bill.
I have and would again recommended Ape Case to others.

Otherwise its a nice bag, with plenty of padding and can fit a DSLR plus 3 lenses and a external flash.

This is a great case for an amateur photographer or videographer. It provides enough space for my 550D, my 18-55mm kit lens, my 50mm lens, my SD cards, cables, extra batteries, and other necessities and I still have pockets free. It could be a little bigger, but it's great for what I need. I am even able to lay a rode mic on top of everything and close the bag easily. As I've said, I wish there was a little more space, but you get what you pay for. I'm happy with it.

Bag is very sturdy! I love the fact that you can arrange the compartments to suit your taste and needs. The Velcro dividers are a cinch!
