The black ACPRO1400 Digital SLR Camera Case from Ape Case is an effective combination of reliability, functionality and price. This water-resistant nylon bag is your basic shoulder bag with all the features you need to get the job done without paying a hefty price. Built to hold 1-2 DSLRs (one with lens attached), a couple of lenses or your digital camcorder, this bag proves that big things do occasionally come in small packages.
The tough nylon exterior is complimented by a smooth-lined interior that is filled with padded, movable dividers that permit you to arrange your Pro bag to accommodate whatever gear you need that day. The dividers are not only padded but are bright yellow making them easy to see in marginal light - let's say, if you're shooting in a dark club or concert. It's a clever addition to a shooting bag that is designed to make your life easier in the field.
Within the bag itself there are fifteen pockets and compartments - more than enough to carry lens and accessories like batteries, cables, pens, filters, cleaning cloths or your cell phone, MP3 player or PDA. A zippered exterior accessory pocket keeps all the small stuff together while an internal mesh pocket serves the same purpose for quick grab items. Working in the field can build up a thirst so Ape has even included a side pull out water bottle pocket. Zippers are supplied for rapid access to the main compartment and accessory pockets while a front snap buckle makes sure the bag stays shut when you want it to stay shut. The bag also has dual tripod straps on the bottom that can also serve to secure your jacket
The Pro is carried around by its removable, adjustable and wide shoulder strap that has an extra wide contoured shoulder pad for added comfort. For those quick grab moments, there's an additional ribbed top grab handle. An ID holder slot is located on the inside of the front flap that can hold your name or business cards. All this is backed by Ape's limited lifetime warranty against defects. For what it offers at a reasonable price point, it's a serious contender for a daily shooting bag for pro or amateur.

Comments about Ape Case ACPRO1400 Digital SLR Camera Case (Black):
This product is excellent. It is huge with so many comparments. I was able to fit our companies video camera, SLR camera and all of the cords, booklets, lights, extra batteries, etc. It even allows me to hook our tripod to the bottom. It efficiently condensed our 3 bags to one and it is still pretty light weight.

The ACPRO1400 Digital SLR Camera Bag has several pockets. Inside the bag, 2 SLRs can fit or one with a large zoom lens plus other smaller lenses. It's bright yellow inside, which helps you find your gadgets at night. It has a net poscket on the inside top flap. It has an outside front pocket which has three pockets and a net. I usually put my cell phone in one of these. It has an outside pocket for a bottle of water and another side pocket with additional pockets for media cards. I was glad I spent the few bucks extra to get the 1400 instead of the 1200. It also has a handle and a shoulder strap. It's a great buy.

Comments about Ape Case ACPRO1400 Digital SLR Camera Case (Black):
This is a fine product, well priced, well made, very sturdy and quite large. My complaint is more with lack of size discription. I found out later that i had actually bought the large (the only one advertized) when in fact there are smaller sizes available. So do your homework if size matters to you. I assure you, you will have plenty of room for two cameras, extra lenses, flash and still plenty of space for personal stuff.

I would think that it would ONLY fit my 7D and two lenses but the bag actually fits more! Now I actually don't know what else to put in it except FUTURE lenses.

The simple and efficient design of the Ape Camera bag stands out from other gear bags out there. Easy access to your gear, a well designed shoulder strap that curves around your neck and a colorful yellow interior that make your camera gear stand out even in low light, are some of the features I would recommend to every camera enthousiast.
This camera bag is ideal for a digital slr with one or two lenses and usual gear. There is an outside strap to carry a light tripod also.
