The black TY-108: tyPad Carbon Fiber Case for iPad, iPad 2 & new iPad from Accessory Workshop provides both a safe, secure and easy way to store, use and transport your iPad, iPad 2 or new iPad. The 3rd generation keyboard, with its improved battery life, provides Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity while also delivering enhanced typing comfort and ergonomic design.
The spill-proof keyboard is slim and light and lays flat for comfortable typing. This ergonomic enhancement also permits easier use of the space bar since the slim case will not interfere with touching it. You'll also have access to iPad command and shortcut keys. Much easier to type on the included keyboard, vs ipad touch screen. I'm typing this review on it as a matter of fact. But it's still too small for my huge hands.
Either the keyboad is to tall, or the back hinge is to short, at least with the new ipad (why couldn't Apple simply call it iPad 3?). When closed, the keys are pressed against the new ipads screen.
I thought that maybe it was actually a carbon fiber skin... but it's really just a carbon fiber patern on what appears to be faux leather
