The Asus 150 Mbps Wireless 802.11N PCI Express Adapter For Desktop is designed to provide complete end-to-end wireless performance. From the server or server backbone to the switch infrastructure and down through to the desktop with the PCI Express connector, this adapter has you covered. It provides wide compatibility, fitting with any standard PCI Express slot: x1, x2, x8 or x16. Compared to standard PCI network cards, it offers increased bandwidth, greater reliability and more functionality, enabling you to enjoy a fast, advanced connection whether downloading, making internet calls or video streaming.
The Physical WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button quickly sets up a secure wireless connection. Software AP mode allows the WLAN card to act as a virtual access point, connecting your notebook or game console to the Internet. The adapter supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption methods for enhanced security.

- To quickly set up a secure wireless connection, install the utility from the Support CD, press the hardware WPS button on the adapter and click "next". Press the hardware WPS button on the router you would like to connect to, and you're done! After the utility finishes the setup procedure, the wireless connection is done!
- Software AP Mode
- Allows the WLAN card to act as a virtual access point. The computer must be connected to a wired network using an Ethernet connection in order to provide network access to WLAN client.

installed on a server 2008 32 bit used a wireless router/firewall/AP.
I was not able to get it working with the driver on the CD provider. Once I used the last version of the driver found on Asus website, everything was perfect.
