The Redged RTC-336 Steady 3-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod is a versatile, lightweight tripod that extends extremely tall and supports an impressive amount of weight for its relatively light heft. Composed of rigid, strong carbon fiber, the 3-section legs and center column extend to a generous maximum height of 73.6".

The RTC-336 includes the features that professionals expect: Anti-rotation legs for quick setup, a very high load capacity of 39.7 lb, retractable spikes in no-slip rubber feet, and a counter-weight hook for attaching a ballast for added stability during windy shoots. In addition, both the twist locks and the center column are designed to prevent sand and dust from invading the RTC-336. At only 4.6 lb, this Steady tripod is an excellent choice for on-the-go photographers who need a very tall tripod.

Carbon Tubes
Leg tubes consist of a unique combination of carbon fiber material. The result: extreme strength and rigidity, with a high grade of vibration reduction
Non-Rotation Legs
Because of the non-rotation system, all locks of each leg can be opened at the same time, in one movement. Setup happens in a matter of seconds
Easy Lock Rings
The Redged ring-locking system keeps dust and sand from entering the tripod, ensuring perfect operation. It requires no extra power to achieve a safe locking
Column-Locking Ring with Wings
The wings ensure tight locking of the center column when heavy photographic gear is placed on the tripod. Rubber sealing prevents sand from entering the locking mechanism
Three Leg Positions
Besides the normal position, the tripod offers the extra-low position for low viewpoints and ground-level macro subjects, and a middle position for table-top photography and macro photography (flowers, insects, etc.)
Stability Hook
The counterweight hook is designed for attaching extra weight (a photo bag, or a bag with sand or stones), to increase the stability of the tripod, especially during windy conditions
Reversible Mounting Screw
Reversible screw has both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, so any photo head or other accessory can be attached
