ddrum DRT Trigger Kit

The DRT Trigger Kit by ddrum consists of five highly responsive, pro-grade drum triggers which include one kick, one snare and three tom triggers. Dual Redundant Triggers (DRT) feature two transducers and a switching mechanism enabling alternate transducer switching without having to unplug the XLR cable hence providing zero downtime reliability.

The snare trigger reads the head and rim separately so you can assign different sounds to each part of the drum. Each trigger is constructed with a rugged metal housing, protecting it from accidental hits and is equipped with quality XLR connectors ensuring superb tracking ability.

Without the use of adhesive or tension rods, the DRT triggers clamp securely on the sides of standard drum hoops. Specially designed transducers press softly against drumheads preventing unwanted dampening and allowing them to be changed without damaging the transducer. The transducers can, however be easily changed if needed over time.

The DRT triggers deliver a wide dynamic range enabling them to capture the natural response of acoustic drums with impressive accuracy and ease. Using standard XLR connectors the triggers provide simple, secure and quality connectivity plus universal compatibility with popular drum modules and digital audio interfaces.
