The DRT Kick Trigger by ddrum is a highly responsive, pro-grade acoustic kick drum trigger. DRT (Dual Redundant Triggers) technology features two transducers and a switching mechanism enabling alternate transducer switching without having to unplug the XLR cable therefore providing zero downtime reliability.
Constructed in a rugged metal housing, the DRT Kick Trigger is protected from accidental hits and is equipped with a quality XLR connector ensuring a secure connection and superb tracking ability. Without the use of adhesive or tension rods, the DRT Kick Trigger clamps securely on the sides of standard kick drum hoops. A specially designed transducer presses softly against drumheads preventing unwanted dampening and allowing them to be changed without damaging the transducer. The transducer can however be easily changed if needed over time. Delivering a wide dynamic range, the DRT Kick Trigger captures the natural response of acoustic kick drums with impressive accuracy and ease.
