Cakewalk SONAR X1 Production Suite

The SONAR X1 Production Suite from Cakewalk includes SONAR X1 Producer, music production software that contains all the recording and editing power needed to deliver polished "radio-ready" recordings. The production suite package is enhanced with an additional module for ProChannel Expanded in the form of the PC4K S-Type Expander/Gate Module, and the Z3TA+ 2 synthesizer rounds out the package.

ProChannel Expanded delivers custom ProChannel strips that include modular components, in place scrolling, and drag drop signal routing. Add and remove modules, swap out dynamics, and apply tube warmth using the Softube Saturation Knob. Strips can be customized to have any combination of installed modules on any channel, and favorite combinations can be set as default for tracks and busses.

The PC4K S-Type Expander/Gate Module features a classic design providing gate function to remove unwanted sound from a signal, along with upward expansion to expand the dynamics of vocals and instruments. The module can be toggled between gate and expander modes, includes threshold, ratio and range controls and switches to enable fast attack and side chain input.

The Z3TA+ 2 virtual synthesizer includes new filters, waveshapers that can themselves be modulated, flexible effects, expressive control, and an enhanced interface. The virtual synthesizer includes the original 1,093 classic patches, plus 1,000 newly crafted sounds. These include numerous arpeggios and sequences, evocative pads, massive leads, and structure-damaging basses.
