The Bowens Octo 90 3' Softbox with Bowens Adapter is a great choice for the photographer or videographer who's looking for a broad, flattering light source with unique fall-off characteristics for portraiture, fashion or events.
Octagonal-shaped light sources have a long reputation as the preferred portrait-shooter's light source. The shape's especially large surface area produces that much-touted "wrap-around" light, which envelops the subject while creating natural-looking catchlights in the eyes. The closer you get, the better it looks.
And the shape isn't the only unique thing about this softbox. For optimal softness with minimal hot spots on the front face, the light source faces the back of the silver interior. Two removable, reflective inserts are provided to cool or warm skin tones to your taste. The zip-up design sets up and breaks down quickly. This listing includes a standard Bowens head adapter.
