I bought this along with the 450 mbps PCI Express 1.0 Wireless card. I always prefer a desktop antenna compared to the ones provided with the cards as these get perfect reception. I never go below 450 mbps. Only thing they could have made the base heavier as it could topple over easily with little effort.This item with Tp-Link TL-WDN4800 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter is PERFECT. You can use this card even with the longer PCI express slot which is what I did. As usual B&H service was EXCELLENT
