The 550 Series 23" LED Computer Monitor from Samsung is an excellent way to view content from your computer, TV, gaming console, cable box, and more. This flat-panel computer monitor has a viewable screen of 23" with a native Full High Definition 1080p resolution.
Beyond Full HD, the display has a wide 170°/160° viewing angle, so you can correctly see visuals from a variety of different positions, whether you are on the far left, far right, on the floor, or of course, directly in front. The monitor also comes with Samsung's MagicAngle technology for tweaking the viewing angle settings.
The monitor's high 1000:1 static contrast ratio ensures that darker and lighter images will be crystal clear. Similarly, the 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio means fast-moving darker or lighter visuals will appear clearly. The speedy 2ms response time ensures that fast-moving or static images won't blur. It has a brightness of 250cd/m².
Beyond providing stellar visuals, this monitor also includes a number of enhancements designed to save you energy. This display's screen relies upon LED-backlighting to use less power than CCFL-backlit monitors and to still provide exceptional performance. The screen will also dim when in a low-lit environment, which saves on electricity and can reduce eye-strain. In addition, the monitor boasts an Eco Motion Sensor that can sense when you leave and when you return. When you leave, the screen will dim, then eventually power down, and when it detects that you've returned, the screen will turn back on.
Compatible with PCs or Macs*, this monitor features VGA and HDMI inputs. The latter port allows you to connect HDMI-outfitted gaming consoles, cable boxes, and more to the monitor. You can view content on the monitor from both your computer via VGA and another device via HDMI. Just push the monitor's "source" button to switch between the two.
This monitor comes with a stand so you can prop it on your table or desktop and a back cover for hiding unsightly connection cables. If you are looking for a monitor designed to be green and designed for displaying Full HD content from more devices than just your computer, give this one a go.

Activating MagicAngle is simple. Just go into the monitor menu and select your screen position from one of four monitor angle settings. Once set, you can enjoy images in full clarity and color depth no matter what position the monitor is facing
