Ultra-slim and encased in aluminum, the 950 Series 27" 3D LED Monitor with Complete 3D Kit from Samsung is a stellar means of taking visual content from your computer to the next level. As part of the 3D kit, you also receive a pair of Active 3D glasses, a sync emitter built-into the monitor, and DDD's TriDef 3D gaming software. With the kit, you will be able to watch 3D-compatible games and movies to their full effect. Beyond 3D, the monitor boasts a Full High Definition native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and features HDMI, DVI-D dual-link, and DisplayPort ports for connecting it to your computer. The monitor also features a 1/8" (3.5mm) heapdhone jack.
This display's screen relies upon LED-backlighting to use less power than CCFL-backlit monitors and to still provide exceptional performance. The screen will also dim when in a low-lit environment, which saves on electricity and can reduce eye-strain. In addition, the monitor boasts an Eco Motion Sensor that can sense when you leave and when you return. When you leave, the screen will dim, then eventually power down, and when it detects that you've returned, the screen will turn back on.
The display has a wide 170°/160° viewing angle, so you can correctly see visuals from a variety of different positions, whether you are on the far left, far right, on the floor, or of course, directly in front. The monitor also comes with Samsung's MagicAngle technology, which allows you to further tweak the viewing angle settings. The fast 2ms response time ensures that fast-moving or static images won't blur. It has a brightness of 300cd/m². If you want game or movie visuals that are on the next level, give this monitor a go.

Took a chance on purchasing the samsung 950 series monitor hoping the 120hz display and 3d would work well with my new radeon 7970 and so far it works great , seems many people have had problems with light bleed and bad pixels as well as poor construction but the one i purchased from b&h has none of them problems so can only hope i get a decent amount of usage out of it .. the picture is great ,colors accurate for most part and tridef 3d seems to work well for the most part only problem is the glasses (1 pair) are not rechargeable and samsung says this monitor is no longer supported so you have to buy the extra glasses from b&h which are rechargeable for an extra $100 so works out expensive over all ... if you are after a 120hz 3d monitor and have the money and... you get a fault free monitor youll be very happy.
