The Sony BKM250TG/3 3G/HD/SD-SDI Input Adapter supplies four BNCs to provide two inputs and two outputs of 3G/HD/SD-SDI for several Sony broadcast/reference and production monitors. Supporting the SMPTE 425M standard, the adapter board auto-detects 3G, HD, or SD-SDI signals. The interface presents a simple cabling solution for groups of video equipment rack-mounted behind an editing room, providing a single-link solution for input/output of 10-bit 4:2:2 1080p60 signals.
The BKM250TG/3 is compatible with BVME170, BVME250, PVML2300, PVML1700 & SRML560 broadcast/reference monitors and LMD1751W, LMD2451W, LMD2451TD & LMD4251TD production monitors. For the BVMF250 and the BVME170, the adapter unlocks those monitors' ability to perform 3D stereoscopic signal analysis (with 2D display): Difference display, Checkerboard display, L/R Switch display, Horopter Check display, and Flip H display.
