The Manfrotto 190 More 3-Section Aluminum Tripod is a special, extended version of the well-loved 190XPROB model tripod. The 190 More tripod reflects the same attention to detail that has made its predecessor a reliable choice for exacting professionals. A cast aluminum chassis, top-quality aluminum leg tubes, and aluminum flip locks combine to compose a rigid, stable camera support that supports up to 11 lb and reaches a generous maximum height of 64.5".
Like the 190XPROB, the taller 190 More has a tilting center column that easily disengages from the chassis upon its full extension. This 90° horizontal tilt combines with the tripod's low-angle leg setting to enable extremely low setups for macro photography and more – you can get as low as 3.3" from the ground. Unfettered choice in framing is the offspring of this versatility in tripod positioning.
The flip locks of the 190 More are adjustable, which means they won't wear out helplessly after heavy use. Like these locks, the leg-angle release mechanisms feature an ergonomic design that results in easier use and faster setup.
It's not just the most practical elements that demanded Manfrotto's keen attention: The 190 More features an elegant black carbon finish that contrasts with scratch-resistant chromed details and stylish red elements that highlight unique technical details of the tripod.
Made especially for this model, a professional tripod strap is included with the 190 More to allow convenient and easy transport of the tripod. Non-slip rubber ensures a stable grip during transport, and loops on both the tripod chassis and one leg mean that you can keep the strap attached to the 190 More even while you're shooting.

The Manfrotto 190 More was my first tripod purchase. I use it with Manfrotto's 324RC2 ball head. It's sturdy and easy to extend. The horizontal bar is genius. You can literally extend the legs and shoot less that a foot off of the ground.

i am a student going to college for photography. This tripod appears to be very sturdy and reliable, much more than i expected for the price. as of now, i shoot with a nikon d5100 and i feel comfortable mounting my camera with lens on the 190 More. i can step away from the tripod without being nervous. I am only 5 foot tall so the tripod is a little big to me and is more difficult/annoying for me to carry but the quality is worth it.

I've carried the tripod for long distances without suffering. Wich is a big plus and the one of the reasons to buy it. It feels a bit unstable but it's only the feeling since I haven't had any issues with stability.

This is a great tripod. It is a bit on the heavy side, but since it is taller than most tripods in it's price range it is excusable. It also comes with a carry strap and leg cushions. You only save a few bucks, but if you are tall or if you want to be sure you can get clear the other tripods in front of you then the 190 More is for you.

This tripod provides excellent versatility. It is light weight enough to carry on hikes and the included shoulder strap is very useful. Low level shots are easy as the legs spread out almost to the ground. Using the center column horizontally is fairly simple too. This tripod is sturdy holding the weight of the 5DII and 100-400mm L lens easily.
