The Aquatica TLC Macro Master Arm Set is a 3-section strobe arm set for technical lighting control. The package consists of a stem arm with a 1.0" (2.5 cm) ball to flat plate, a 6.0" (15.2 cm) double ball middle arm, and a 6.0" (15.2 cm) double ball end arm, plus 3 ball-joint clamps. The Macro Master Arm Set requires a ball head adapter (not included).
The set can be configured to have an extra ball head for greater flexibility, or a rigid "upper" arm fitting without the added joint. If you have to photograph in tight quarters or move your strobes in close, a ball fitting is the best way to go. However, if you are working in a different environment, say, in blue water and photographing large animals, you might prefer a longer, more rigid upper strobe arm fitting. This will ensure that your strobes stay locked in place regardless of conditions.
