The 17" MacBook Pro / Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium / AJA Io XT Turnkey Editing System from B&H is the portable editing workstation for those who are working with advanced video formats on the go and need professional computing power and the highest-bandwidth computer & video interfaces. It's based on Apple's 17" MacBook Pro with a quad-core 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor. The system comes maxed out with 8 GB of RAM, and Creative Suite 5.5 Production Premium software has been professionally installed by a B&H specialist.

The Promise Technology Pegasus R4 desktop SATA RAID stores up to 4 TB of video files and connects to the MacBook Pro via the 10 Gb/s Thunderbolt connection. The AJA Io XT I/O device connects directly to the RAID's second Thunderbolt port to supply input and output for stereoscopic 3D, 1080p, and 2K projects via 3G/HD-SDI. Two Thunderbolt cables are included.

You also get two professional control interfaces specially designed for driving Adobe Premiere Pro editing software: a 15-button Contour Design ShuttlePRO v2 jog/shuttle controller and a LogicSkin silicone keyboard skin from Logic Keyboard that's printed with keyboard shortcuts.
