The Polaroid X720E Waterproof HD Pocket Camcorder (Blue) is an HD digital camcorder capable of capturing 1280 x 720p resolution video footage at 30 frames per second (fps). The camcorder features a 3x digital zoom and is waterproof up to a depth of ten feet. It has a 2.0" fine grade TFT color LCD display that can be used for recording, as well as for instant playback. If you want to upload your footage onto your computer, there's a USB port. Plus, for sharing footage with friends and family, there's an HDMI output for connecting the camcorder to your HDTV and enjoying your 720p high-definition footage just as you shot it. For storage while shooting, Polaroid equipped the X720E with a microSD card slot, which can support microSD cards up to 16GB. This gives you plenty of storage capacity to record sports, family functions and anything else worth documenting. Plus, the camcorder is ultra-portable and runs on only four AA batteries.

Recording quality and features are very good for a handheld camcorder. That's about where the good points end.
The interface is baffling. There's no dedicated "Play" button, and you actually need to press the weird large "Enter" button twice to play a video. There's a button with a menu icon that's used to delete videos. Instead of directional buttons, you use the zoom buttons to move around the menu system. There are certain conventions with buttons that help make devices easy to use, and this device violates too many of those, and the result is a frustrating experience.
The buttons themselves are lousy. They're hard to press, and don't have any tactile feedback to indicate that they've been pressed. They make the tips of my fingers hurt. Zooming while recording is especially painful.
A single press frequently results in double-triggering the button, which is no fun when you're trying to move one video to the left or right.
The plastic chassis is very easily scratched.
