I bought this to replace the strap that came with my D700. Let's face it, for all the money that DSLR's cost, the straps they provide are terrible.
At first I looked into getting an OpTech spongy one but later decided to try the KATA DL-C, I also bought the Pro-L version. I much prefer the DL-C version, it's simpler, cheaper & just as comfortable as the Pro version.
I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my Nikon FE2 film body.
The Pro version is a little longer and the padded part can be removed, the DL version you can't and it's shorter. For me that's fine, as long as it's simple & comfortable which the DL definitely is.
If you're considering a new strap I would highly recommend trying this KATA out before spending a lot on anything fancy.

It's a strap...and that's about all it is. I was expecting more padding in the shoulder area and there really isn't any. I have an OP/TECH on another camera and wish I would have stuck with that. This strap isn't bad but the OP/TECH is certainly better for my needs.

Comfortable well made basic strap. Good value for the price. Has very annoying product labels sewn onto the outside that need to be carefully cut off with scissors.
