The P4 Pico LED Pocket Projector from AAXA Technologies is a marvel of modern miniaturization. It's a real working projector that weighs under one pound (0.8kg) and features a dazzling 80 lumen high contrast optical engine powered by Texas Instrument's DLP.
With its vivid 2000:1 contrast ratio you can project on a screen or just about anywhere. Next time you're on a road trip sit in the back seat and project a movie or play a video game on the seatback in front of you.
The LED light source is rated to last 15,000 hours. You'll never change the lamp in this projector. The P4 comes with a Li-Ion rechargeable battery that's good for a solid hour on a charge. You can recharge it using the included AC adapter or, at a slower rate, directly from the USB port. Of course you can always run on AC power if there's a socket nearby and save your battery power for when you really need it.
The small beamer has 2GB of its own internal memory and accepts MicroSD/TF card and USB host readers. That means you can bring along tons of movies, songs and photos right in the projector.

Comments about AAXA Technologies P4 Pico LED Pocket Projector:
Simple product that I use for business presentations. Easy to use and much brighter than my previous pico of another brand which is most important since I don't always have the ideal lighting conditions for a pico projector.

Comments about AAXA Technologies P4 Pico LED Pocket Projector:
The projector itself isn't bad, it works well when displaying videos from a USB stick or internal memory, although the fan is quite loud and needs to be drowned out by something larger than the weak internal speaker.
The real problem is lack of 'supported' input types. When hooking this up to a computer (Mac or Windows), there is no support for WXGA (1280×800). When contacting AAXA about this, it seems there were stability issues and AAXA have removed support for this mode. As such, you are stuck downsizing any external input to 4x3. So if you want to view 16x9 content it first gets converted to 4x3 (with black bars on the side) and then back to 16x9 (with more black bars on the top/bottom) cutting off about 40% of the screen (and pixels and brightness).
Plus, there is significant electronic interference when using the composite video cables and plugging the power cord in at the same time, so hooking this up to a dvd player is doubly frustrating, wasting half the screen again for 16x9 content, and having fuzzy lines on what's left of the screen.
Plus the included remote only works from the left hand side (and front left hand corner).
My primary intended use was for netflix/internet streaming from my laptop, and this makes that a very frustrating experience. I also tried extensively to use WinCE to connect to the internet, with a plugin USB Wifi stick, that I found a WinCE driver for, but after much frustration gave up. I can't think of a worse operating system for this device. Why not install Android or Linux instead, avoiding the licensing cost and providing a useable operating system.
I would return this projector in a second if I didn't live in Canada and didn't have to deal with Canada Customs.
Don't get this projector unless you only want it to display content from a usb.

Comments about AAXA Technologies P4 Pico LED Pocket Projector:
Use this to watch movies and tv primarily. The color quality is pretty amazing, especially for something this small. I typically use it in the bedroom where I have have a pulldown screen from elite screens.
With a screen the colors are very vibrant and even when I shine it on my tan walls the projector is bright enough to get a great image.
I plan to use this for presentations from time to time but for now, its just my tiny media machine.
