The black KT PL-LW-88W Medium Rolling Organizer Case from Kata is a heavy duty case made for those on the move. This case is designed to hold lots of lighting gear in an organized and safe manner. It's rated to hold either 2 Flash Heads,Power Pack,Stands or Or 3-4 Medium Spots,3-4 Stands. The case is made from lightweight but durable nylon to guarantee the highest level of protection in the lightest case to date.
Within the case there are two full-sized compartments. The first compartment is deep and meant to hold your lighting heads, packs and stands. The other compartment is smaller and sized to hold support gear like cables, domes and adapters. It can also accommodate more gear such as umbrellas or even more stands. In addition, there's a large exterior pocket that is made to hold more support gear like rolls, umbrellas or even your personal stuff.
For carrying purposes, the case features Kata's exclusive Insertrolley that contains two durable wheels for rapid and easier navigation through parking lots and ramps. Convenient carry handles are located on the top and sides. For even more protection and convenience, there are Toblerones on the bottom and other vulnerable spots on the bag to protect it from bumps and tears. They will also guard the bag when placed on the ground since they elevate the case to keep water from touching it.
Inside, Kata has included their Modi-vers system which is a series of customizable dividers that can be configured to protect specific-sized gear. Just cut them to fit the gear in question and your equipment will have its own separate nest in which to safely travel. These dividers are yellow which help see the contents when the bag is opened in marginal light. As an overall protective measure, Kata uses its Aeriform foam to line the bag. This is a combination of EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) and EPE (polyethylene) materials that make for a lightweight, perforated and laminated protective layer. Access to the case is achieved by strong zippers for both the main compartment and exterior pocket.
This is an all-in-one case designed for the pro who needs a serious case for serious gear and serious use. Supported by it wheels, it will help make getting to that gig easier and more successful.

Comments about Kata KT PL-LW-88W Rolling Organizer Case (Medium, Black):
I use this product to store and move my lighting set-up. It easily stores 2 Elinchrom lights, their cords and modifiers, as well as three lightstands, various small clamps and an extension cord. The case looks to be quite durable and the inside is easily adjusted to fit individual equipment. The rollers make it easy to move around.

Comments about Kata KT PL-LW-88W Rolling Organizer Case (Medium, Black):
This case is great. Very lightweight but the padding is sufficient to protect my lights and bulbs. Customizing the compartments is very easy, the whole interior is velcro and you can move around the dividers anyway you want. I like the small pouches where i can store my scrims and gels. the whole case is very sturdy and hight quality. It does have wheels on the bottom which work well. My only complaint and the reason i gave 4 stars instead of five is that when you wheel this case around it is awkward because it is a little short. The handle needs to be able to extend a little or the case could have been slightly larger by 3 or 4 inches.I stand at 5'11 and I feel i have to hunch over a little when i wheel my lights around.

Comments about Kata KT PL-LW-88W Rolling Organizer Case (Medium, Black):
What an impressive case; looking really good pulling it into the client site for a shoot. The storage is ample for my two box LED lamps, which fit nicely in the lid, leaving room for me to add a few more lights at bottom. Padding is good, the little pockets with velcro flaps are convenient, roller-blade type wheels feel like quality and seem like they will last. I've only had the case for two weeks, so we'll see, so far, I'm very impressed.
I'm 5'11" so I thought a drawback would be that it doesn't have a retractable handle. I was pleasantly surprised, the case is long enough to where it's a comfortable pull, not having to hunch over.
