The DSmobile 700D Duplex Color Scanner from Brother makes it easy to scan documents and other important papers on the go. The 600 dpi scanner can handle pages up to 8.5 x 14.0" (legal size) and thicker media such as laminated ID cards. The fast 10 PPM black and 3 PPM color scan speeds combine with automatic two-sided scanning to provide quick document capture anywhere at any time. Instead of requiring a 2nd cord for power, the scanner receives its power from your computer via the USB cable; no batteries or wall outlet needed.
The scanner comes bundled with both Presto! PageManager and Presto! BizCard. PageManager helps organize digitized files so you can easily find your scanned documents. Additionally, PageManager's OCR software converts your scanned documents into editable text, a PDF file, or an email attachment, all in one easy step. Also included is Presto! BizCard which makes it easy to scan and import contact information directly into Microsoft Outlook or other contact management software. In addition to sending contact info to Outlook you can also create a database of all your scanned contacts that can be easily searched and sorted.
