The battery grip is great. My only problem is that sometimes when you click the shutter button, it doesn't fire, but it only happens some of the time. The other this is it doesnt have a selecter wheel on it. It is a pain to have to switch your hand position to meter, then change it back to take the shot. Other than those things it is a really great product. I have x3 the camera battery and power now.

Only [$] and it makes a remarkable difference. Me I have big hands and yes this camera is very light and you do get an imbalance when you attach a good lens on it. I use a 85mm 1.8 lens and that sucker seems heaver then the camera. With the Grip on the camera it really creates a pro feel in your hand. Makes the camera nice a bulky and its much more better for Portraits. The grip includes a shutter release button, infrared remote and can take 2 batteries. Its made of good quality plastic and attaches to the camera flawlessly.
